Since 1993, I have had the pleasure of working with the UW Department of Molecular Biotechnology's Education Outreach group. I love my job, as it allows me the opportunity to be active in scientific research in partnership with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, including teachers, scientists, science educators, and students. It is exciting to be a part of science education reform at the local, state, and national levels. I'm currently working on two projects, the GENETICS project and the High School Human Genome Program.
