Genetic Traits Activity |

Contribute Your Data to the Genetic Traits Database We need more data in our database! The database is updated as classes send their data in. If the students in your classes survey their genetic traits, please send us their data. Reassure students that all data will remain anonymous. You may use the pdf forms below for collecting data, if you like. Or use a form from another source. Individual form for collecting data. Pass out this half page form to your students for direct scoring of their genetic traits. Send forms to address below for addition to our online database -OR- Pooled data form. Use this form to submit all of your classroom data in pooled form on one page. Send pooled data form to address below. Please note that if you do not wish to pool your data, we happily accept the individual forms and will pool your data for you. We are very happy to receive your raw data, that is, individual forms for each student. This allows us to look at correlations of specific traits with each other. If you do not wish to submit your raw data, you can submit your collated data using the pooled data form above. This is only one form for you to send in and if you do this activity in your class, you will probably be tallying the data anyway. You can also contribute raw data and collated data if you wish (thank you!).To contribute your data to our database, send a hard copy of your class data to: Megan Brown Or e-mail data to mtbrown@u.washington.edu. |
