High School Summer Genetics Workshop.
August 4-8, 2003. University of Washington.
Now in its fourth year, this popular workshop for high school
teachers (emphasis is on genetics for introductory biology classes)
features an inquiry approach. Information on the workshop, which
is similar to what we plan to offer in 2003, is available at
http://chroma.mbt.washington.edu/outreach/genetics/workshop.
Applications for the 2003 workshop will be available in January
2003. Applications are due April. 24, 2003. Please apply early
as this workshop filled quickly in 2002. All teachers receive
a stipend. Clock hours or undergraduate/graduate credits are
available.
